Expanding pathways to youth employment in Morocco

The consortium of A-Excellence, Match Excellence, and Mon Miroir has been selected as one of four implementing partners in Morocco for the Challenge Fund for Youth Employment (CFYE), an initiative supported by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Together, the three organizations aim to tackle persistent youth unemployment through employability programs and better connections between young talent and employers.

Supporting access to decent work

Implemented by Palladium Group, the Challenge Fund for Youth Employment supports innovative ideas that create or improve decent employment opportunities for young people aged 15–35, with a particular focus on young women.

Across its seven-year implementation period, CFYE aims to help 230,000 young people access new or better employment, including paid employment and self-employment. This fund-wide ambition spans the Middle East, North Africa, the Sahel and West Africa, and the Horn of Africa.

Three partners, one shared ambition

The consortium brings together complementary expertise in career development, youth empowerment, and education:

Match Excellence is a growing Moroccan EdTech SME serving clients across the MENA region. It helps talented young people shape their careers and connects them with meaningful employment.
A-Excellence supports underprivileged youth across the region through training, inspiration, networking, and mentorship, helping them reach their personal and professional potential.
Mon Miroir is a strategy and management consulting firm with more than 14 years of contributions to the education sector.

Rethinking the transition from education to employment

Beyond creating and connecting young people with employment opportunities, the consortium aims to reshape how young people in Morocco transition from education into the job market.

By combining their expertise, the partners seek to build stronger pathways between learning, career preparation, and meaningful work.
