Saudi Youth – Match Excellence launches in Riyadh

Following successful programs across Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Youth – Match Excellence has launched in Riyadh with the support of J.P. Morgan, in partnership with Tanweel and other local partners, and delivered through Match Excellence.
Supporting 300 young Saudis over two years
The program aims to empower 150 young Saudi women and men each year for two years, providing coaching, mentorship, and networking opportunities to help them achieve their professional aspirations and successfully transition into the labour market.
Participants will also be connected with additional training and employment opportunities in sectors seeking talent across the country. The initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 and its objectives for increasing Saudi participation in the workforce.

Learning from role models and experienced professionals
The program is facilitated by Arab role models and leading professionals from partner companies and institutes in Saudi Arabia.
These mentors bring demonstrated achievements in their fields, alongside experience in youth engagement and empowerment. Their first-hand understanding of overcoming personal and professional challenges helps them guide participants facing difficult decisions and obstacles in their own lives.

Building on a record of impact across the Kingdom
More than 1,000 young Saudi women and men in Riyadh, Jeddah, and the Eastern Province have already benefited from Arab Excellence programs delivered in partnership with Tanweel.
Previous programs have also involved collaboration with Saudi partners including Effat University, Al Faisal University, Bunyane, AlNahdah, the Al Birr Charity, and the Al Ghad Youth Association.
According to Arab Excellence’s post-program research, participants in the Saudi pilot phase reported the following outcomes:
90% secured meetings with potential mentors to refine their professional vision and career roadmap.
93% had a clear professional vision.
85% improved their technical and soft skills.

Support for Arab Excellence forms part of JPMorgan Chase’s $200 million global investment to create pathways to opportunity in the regions where it operates, supporting financial capability, community development, workforce development, and small businesses.
In Saudi Arabia, J.P. Morgan supports programs that help young people prepare for quality employment, compete in the global economy, and access new economic opportunities, particularly in the private sector.
